I thought this book was quite similair to Chinese Handcuffs, which has the same author. They both dealt with suicide, sports and abusive parents. I liked this book because it’s pretty hard to believe that things like this actually happen, but they do and when people read things like this it puts certain issues in a different perspective. I would suggest this book for the identity unit because out of all the ones I’ve read Chris Crutcher was the author of both of my favorites.
