**** Burned was a great book. Its about a mormen girl who gets in trouble at school, and has some problems with her alcoholic dad, and she is forced to move out west to live with her aunt by her dad. It has a couple of slow spots but not to many. The ending of this book if fantastic, and completly unexpected. i would recomend this book to anyone.

***** I highly recommend this book. It was one of the best ones I've read this year. It kept me hooked, wondering what is going to happen next. It's about a seventeen year old girl Pattyn, the oldest daughter in a large Mormon family, she is sent to her aunt's in Nevada for the summer where is gets the chance to escape her abusive and alcoholic dad. She find love and acceptance while she is away, not knowing she will soon lose everything when she goes back home.

**** I loved this book. It was one of the best books I have ever read. It was about a seventeen year old girl named Pattyn; she is in a Mormon family. The things happening at home and what she is supposed to do and not supposed to do make it so she had to lie to her parents to do things. But she got caught doing stuff and got sent to her aunt’s house and she finds love and acceptance and she learns to love herself and feel beautiful. But when she has to go back home at the end of the summer she looses everything. I highly recommend this book.

It's about a seventeen year old girl named Pattyn, she is the oldest in her large Mormon family, her mom and dad send her to her aunt's in Navada for the summer, now she has a chance to get away from her abusive dad. When she is in Navada she finds love without knowing she will soon have nothing when she gets home. I think everyone should read this

****Burned is a really good book about this Mormon girl named Pattyn who has an alcoholic father who beats her mom. Pattyn met a boy from school and started doing things that got her into trouble, so her mom and dad sent her to her aunt’s house for the summer. There she met a boy who she fell in love with and changed her completely, but she had to go back home at the end of the summer. Pattyn’s father started beating her instead of her mother because she was pregnant and he didn’t want to hurt the baby. Pattyn needs to escape her family when she finds out something that she would probably be murdered for if her father knew. I loved this book because I always wanted to know what was going to happen next.

**** I loved Burned. It’s about a seventeen year old Mormon girl named Pattyn. She has a huge family that’s all girls, with her alcoholic father and passive mother. When Pattyn starts going against her religion she gets into trouble. Her father forces her to live with her Aunt J in Nevada. Pattyn finds out a lot of new things about her family and a free life. Her behavior changes completely from beginning to end. I hated the end of the book. It’s a definite shocker. I would recommend this book to everyone, it’s a great story.

*** This is a good book; it’s about a Mormon girl who falls in love with a dude that she met when she was sent away from her house because her abusive father sent her away. She goes through a lot when she is visiting her aunt, and she never wants to go back to her house, but she knows that all of he sisters would do better if she did come home. Like what Dominic said, the ending is very unexpected and it catches you by surprise. I liked this book book and I would recommend it to someone, but what I didn’t like the title. The title is burned, but it has nothing about smoking anything, only a little drinking. So, that didn’t make and since to me.

The book “Burned” is one of my favorite books. I would give this book five stars. I liked this book a lot because it keeps you reading and is about real life issues some teenagers have to deal with. This is one of my favorite authors because you can never guess the ending. “Burned” is about a seventeen year old girl named Pattyn. Pattyn struggles to accept her religion and to accept what it really means to be Mormon. Pattyn has to live in a house of many children and an abusive alcoholic dad. Pattyn is sent to Aunt J’s house in Nevada where she finds there is more to life. While living in Nevada Pattyn meets a boy who will forever change her life. Pattyn has no idea what is in store for when she has to return home. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good book.

****Burned was an excellent book. It was about a Mormon girl named Pattyn. She had a lot of sisters but her dad wanted a son. He was an alcoholic who beat his wife and children. Pattyn moved to her aunts for the summer where she fell in love with a non-Mormon boy. She is sent back home to help with her new baby brother. The ending is so unexpected, but I would still recommend this book.

Burned by Ellen Hopkins. I liked this book a lot because I thought it was very interesting. The story started out with a Mormon girl named Pattyn. Pattyn had it tough living at home with her huge family. Her dad would come home several nights drunk and would hit her mom. Her mom would just take it and not say anything. When she started getting into trouble with boys and school, her dad sent her away to her aunt’s farm in Nevada. At first, Pattyn thought that she would hate living in the middle of nowhere with someone she barely talks to. When she got there she didn’t want to leave because she met a special someone. I loved this book because it really kept me reading. I would recommend this book to everyone. It’s a fast and easy book to read.
