****The First Part Last by Angela Johnson is the perfect book. It is about a boy overcoming the birth of a child almost alone. All the while he is living in the cities of New York. While he and the mother are talking about giving it up for adoption with the social workers, he knows in the back of his mind it can’t happen. The First Part Last shows that it is possible to actually overcome things, and all things that seem bad at first eventually come along with something good. Although I can’t give away the ending, I have to say that this book has the best last words any book could ever have!

***The First Part Last by Angela Johnson. This book is from the point of view of a sixteen year boy who just became a dad. Through out the book the author took you back to Bobby's past and what is happening in his present life. At the end of this book it takes a turn for the worst. After that Bobby has a big decision to make on his own. This book reminded me of what a lot of teenagers are going through, and I think it really relates to young adults. I didn't like how the author would repeat things over in chapters.

The First Part Last by Angela Johnson is one of the best books I have ever read. Even though it is really short you get well of enough satisfaction. This book is about a boy who is going to be a father. He lives in New York City with his mother. When the time came where he had to give his baby to the social workers, in his mind and heart he couldn't let his baby go. This book shows that overcoming adversity could be one of the greatest things you ever do. The ending of this book will blow your mind right off the pages of the book. I was completely overwhelmed by the ending. Over all I have to say read this book, it is awesome!

** The book “the first part last” is a pretty good book. Its pretty short and easy to read. The book is about a young boy who knocked a girl up and now has to learn how to be a good father. I like how the author wrote the book because it shows how much his life changed now that his has a kid. The boy in this book has to overcome a lot of changes in his life. Overall this book is a pretty good, easy book.

**I thought that the book The First Part Last was a pretty good book. This story is about a boy named bobby who lives in New York. In the story bobby goes through raising his daughter with out barely any help from his baby mamma. In the story I didn’t like too much how it kept going back and forth from then and now. It got kind of confusing. I also liked it because you get to see first person about what kids his age go through and struggle and fight to raise a child. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.

I really liked this book. I'm really glad that I read it because I could really relate. I know exactly what it's like to try to come to school when you've been up all night with your screaming baby, and how frustrating it is to have to get up early to get to the babysitter. I was lucky enough to be 18 when i became a teen parent. Bobby was only 16. I admire that his friends still try to spend time with him. I can't believe that his mother just sits back and watches while he struggles. I know it's a horrible feeling to have people perfectly able to help and they just sit back and do nothing. The end really through me off and i can't believe that Bobby had to go through all that. I'm very proud of the decision he made. i would recamend this book to every teenager. It had a very important lesson behind it.

I thought this book was pretty good. It was about a 16 year old boy Bobby growing up in New York and on his 16th birthday he finds out that his girlfriend Nia is pregnant. They go through the idea of putting the baby up for adoption but Bobby knows that that isnt the right thing to do. I think this is a really good book, because there are a lot of teens that go through having to raise children, while they themselves are still children. It gives you an up close perspective on what the struggle is like.

** I thought this book was an okay book. It was about this 16 year old boy named Bobby and he is growing up in New York. His girlfriend Nia tells him that she is pregnant on his 16th birthday. They try and figure out what they want to do with the baby; adoption or keep it. What happens to Nia surprises me. The thing that I liked about this book is that there are a lot of teens that go through this. They have to figure out if they want to stay in school, have the baby, money. A lot of teens are getting pregnant these days and this book shows that it is harder than it looks.

The First Part last I thought was a great book. It’s about a 16 year old boy living in New York with his mom. His girlfriend Nina tells him that she is pregnant on the day of his 16 birthday. They both are scared to tell their parents about it. They debate on weather or not to keep the baby or give it up for adoption. The thing that most shocked me is what happens to Nina. This book is a great book I would recommend it to anyone that loves a book with surprises.

****The First Part Last by Angela Johnson. This was a great book. It’s about a boy who lives in New York and is overcoming the struggle of taking care of his new born baby all alone. His mother wants him to give it up for adoption, but he knows that he can’t. The book talks about his struggles. It has a pretty surprising ending. I didn’t like that it kept going back and forth it got a little confusing. It was a short book but good. it was short I would defiantly recommend it.

First Part Last was about a guy who got his girlfriend pregnant and they agree there not ready and decide to give it up for adoption. When she has the baby he decides he wants to keep it and he won’t sign the adoption papers. Nia, the baby’s mom moves away and he is stuck caring for the child by himself. He gets like no help from his parents and barely ever sleeps. This book was very hard to understand because it jumps back and forth between when she was pregnant and now that he has the baby. I recommend this book if you need something quick and easy to read.
