I thought that this was an ok book. The plot seemed to stagger throughout the book and there wasn’t much depth to the characters. As far as vampire stories are concerned, this is a refreshing style of vampire. Vampires are a different species of human called Ina. All Ina have to form symbiotic relationships with humans to survive. An Ina named Shori wakes up in a cave and has lost all of her memory. As the story progresses, Shori slowly relearns many of the basic concepts of being an Ina. She eventually finds what remains of her family and then has them killed. Shori decides to hunt down these killers and bring them to justice. One interesting idea an the book was the Ina to human relationships and all other sorts of social conflicts.

****I really loved this book. It had a lot in common with the Twilight series. I think that made it easier to follow. It is continuously giving you little sparks of action to keep you interested so there is never a dull moment in the book. There are a few points where things get a little graphic, but there aren't too many details so it really isn't too bad. The author keeps it pretty close to PG13. I would definatly recommend this book to others, especially if they were Twilight fans.

**** Fledgling was one of the best books that I have read all year. It was definitely within the top 10. Shori, aka Renne in the very beginning, is what seems to Wright a sweet little girl that got lost in the woods. When he finds out that she is actually a 53 year old vampire who is in a world of danger, something about her makes it so that he feels that he can do nothing except help her. With her family gone and no one else to turn to except distant relatives to the south, Shori heads for Cali in hopes safety….little does she know that her troubles are far from over. This book was like I said amazing and a great read for anyone who likes the Sci-Fi genre of books.

*****Fledgling was a really good book. At first I thought wow this is really boring, but then it started to get really good. It is similar to the twilight Sega, but the vampires are a different species called Ina. Shori also known as Renne, seemed like a sweet little girl when Wright found her walking alone by herself. Once he finds out she actually a 53 year old Ina, and is more danger than he cold ever have imagined, he still can’t stay away from her. With no family left, but distant relatives, she goes to California in hopes to solve her problems. Little does she no there is far more danger to come.

***** Fledgling is an amazing book, I absolutely loved it. It is about a girl named Shori who wakes up in a cave with deadly injuries and to find out that she has no family. Then she is found by a man named Wright who thinks she is a sweet, little girl until he gets a closer look. He finds out she is a 53 year old vampire. What I like about this book is that the people depicted to be vampires aren’t called vampires, they are called Ina and they need symbiotic relationships with humans to survive. Through out the book you learn of her struggles to stay alive and her struggles to figure out who killed her family and why. I strongly recommend this book to anyone, even I didn’t know if I would like because I’m not into Science Fiction and Fantasy books, but I loved it.

***Fledgling is a very interesting book. It deals with a girl named Shori who wakes up in a cave with injuries and to find out that she has no family. In time she finds a man who gets close to her and takes care of her. He finds out she is a 53 year old vampire. What I like about this book is that it really was different from all the other vampire books that you read. There was more of history bout them and it was more interesting to me. Throughout the book you learn of her struggles to stay alive and her struggles to figure out who killed her family and why. To figure out her purpose in life and who she really is. I enjoyed this book very much.
