*** I thought this book was really good. The whole book keeps you on the edge and wondering what will happen next. The main character finds her self having to make a very big decision. The decision will either lead to her survival or death at the expense of three young children. What will she do? What would I do? Those were the questions I was asking all along. I like how the author incorporates other characters from the other books in the series and it was just all around well written. She was heart broken but does she have the heart to hurt others to be better off on her own. The ending may shock you because it did for me.

***Among the Betrayed by Margret Peterson Haddix was an ok book. It starts off with Nina as the new main character after Jason has betrayed her and he turn everyone in to the population police. Now she is not only responsible for herself but also for three other young shadow children. She now has to choose between life and death. I thought this book was ok for the fact that it was kind of exciting while also being easy to follow. However, I would’ve like to read more about what happened to Luke
