**** Chains is about two sisters who are slaves to loyalists during the revolutionary war. Isabel ends up giving information to the rebels about the loyalists’ plans. When she goes for help to escape her master the rebels tell her they can’t help her. Later she runs messages between a rebel general and his men in jail. A lot happens to Isabel in a short time, but in the end she gets what she wants. I don’t like the way they ended Chains because now I really want to read the sequel, but it’s not out yet.

She gets told from another slave that she can get freed by the rebels if she feeds them her master’s knowledge from the loyalist. Things end up turning to the worst for her when she joins the rebels. I recommend this book to everyone. It is highly addicting.
