The “Fact of Life #31” by Denise Vega was a pretty good book. I would give it a 3 and a half out of 5 stars. There were a lot of different things going on in the story. I liked the ending of the book. The book did keep me reading and made me wonder what would happen next. The book is about a young girl named Katima who is a junior. Kat is somewhat different then the other kids her age. Kat is finally getting noticed by the boy she had been admiring for years. Kat is also working at the midwifery with her mother. Through out the book you get to read about all the different experiences Kat goes through and all the things she gets to do for the first time. I would recommend this book to anyone but especially girls. I think girls make relate to the story more.
