The book "The Spectacular Now", was really interesting. I liked the wording he used and how he described things. His style of writing made the book even more interesting to read. In this book, Sutter Keely, a high school kid, tells us all about his experiences in high school. Sutter is known for being a partier, but when everything starts to fall apart around him and people are starting to look at him differently, is it time for a change? I recommend this book for everyone, it is easy to read and easy to get into.

****The Spectacular Now is one of my favorite reads. Sutter Keely is a kid like many others, misunderstood and known as a party guy. Things around him eventually start to go downhill and he is left with only one option and that is change. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read that one story in which they can connect with what the author is trying to portray in the story.

The book The Spectacular Now wasn’t one of the best books I have read. It has a lot to do with alcohol and relationships. In the book, a boy in high school named Sutter Keely has had many girlfriends, he also drinks alcohol all the time, but he says he isn’t an alcoholic. He finds a new girlfriend named Aimee, and she is very distant from everybody. She is very different than Sutter, and changes him into almost a different person. Does Sutter like this change? And does he stay with her, or does he find another new girlfriend?

I gave this book three and a half starts out of four. The book spectacular now was a very interesting book. I like how the author worded the book and how he described things. It is about a kid named Sutter Keely who is known as the partier, the drinker who has and many girlfriends. The book is about his life and his experiences he has. He finds a new girlfriend named Aimee, who is very distant from everyone except for her one friend who treats her like crap along with her mom, step dad, and little brother. Sutter wants to just help her self-esteem, but ends up falling for her.
