This book is about a 12 year-old boy named Todd Hewitt, he lives in Prentisstown on the New World. This town isn’t like normal towns, there are onlthere are only 137 men, and due to a virus every man can hear eachothers thoughts, including animals. He is the last boy to become a man, but before he can, he hears a spot of silence, he is forced to run for his life, and never look back. Where will Todd go if he can’t come back, and What will this spot of Silence be?
