**** I really liked this book. It captured my attention from the first page on. I really wanted to know why this summer would be the worst in Nicole’s life. The book has a lot of unexpected turns in it and I never wanted to take the book down. This book is like a mirror of our society because everyone – maybe without to know it – is focused on the look of a person and only later we see what’s “inside” the persons.

***This book was really good. I read through it pretty quickly, and it was easy to get attached to the characters. I think that everyone can relate to Colie in one way or another. Everyone has self-esteem problems, whether they know it or not. They story-line in this book is great, and the characters reminded me of people in my life, and I think that's important in a book.

*** Keeping the moon was good but not great every few chapters you will get sucked in and stay that way for a while but it’s not like that for the entire book. Colie is an amazing character that Sarah Dessen has come up with and she comes across as if she is actually a real person. She has emotion and drive yet she’s also timid and scared a lot of the time especially when she runs into an “old friend” while on vacation. I liked this book but I wasn’t the best ever. I would give this a 7.5 out of 10.

*** I really liked this book! I got sucked in right from the beginning. Colie was a character that was easy to relate to. Even though she got sour at the end I still really like her. This book shows the changes that can happen within only one summer, if you allow them to happen. This book really shows how mean people can get by judging people by there physical appearance!

**** I thought this book was really good from the first page I read. Every one can relate to at least one of the characters. Each character was different in their own way. Some teens have a hard time fiting in. Collie had a weight problem till she lost some weight and now she still sees her self as a fat ugly girl. Her friends try to tell her the truth about who she is and looks like. This story was grate because it makes you think about the characters problems and how they get though them. I recommend this book to everyone

***Keeping the Moon was a really good book. It showed true inspiration and spirit. It was about a girl getting over the fact that she used to be big. She ends up standing up to the girl that put her down all of those years and finding the confidence she had the whole time with out even knowing. She realizes that the only reason she thought she was so ugly was because that is what everyone told her. She finds love in the guy she never thought she would because she was too quick to judge. This book shows that you need to slow down and not be so judge mental along the way. It is an eye opener that you won’t be able to put down.

*** Keeping the Moon is about Colie who is sent to stay with her Aunt Mira while her mom travels for her job Colie isn't a self confident person and hides behind a different way of dressing and a lip ring. A rumor about Colie is started that isn't true, but no one at home likes her. Colby, North Carolina, Colie meets and makes new friends and with their help changes the way she feels about herself.

**** Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen was a really good book. I think that this is a good one for teens to relate to because it tells of trying to fit in and many other teenage struggles. Colie Sparks has a past she doesn’t like being brought up. Her mom is this big fitness guru and travels everywhere. Colie moved in with her aunt for the summer where she didn’t really expect much from it. There is a mix of characters in this story that each brings something different to the table in their own ways. This made the story more interesting to me, and you could relate to each of them. I really liked this book and would recommend it to everyone.

***Keeping the moon was a pretty good book. It's about a girl named Nicole who was sent away by her mother to go to her aunt's house so that her mom would be able to travel for her job. In the book there was a rumor started that wasn't true, but people at home don't like her, Nicole meets a new friends and they help her change the way that she feels about herself.

***Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen was a really good book. It was about a girl getting over the fact that she used to be overweight. She ends up standing up to the girl that put her down all of those years and finding the confidence she had the whole time with out even knowing. She realizes that the only reason she thought she was so ugly was because everyone would make fun of her and lowered the little self-confidence that she had. She finds love in the guy she never thought she would because from the first time they'd met, she was overly judgemental towards him. This book teaches people not to judge books by it's cover and in order to have an opinion about a person, you should really get to know them first. This book is exciting and surprising, and I highly recommend it.

****Keeping the moon was a really good book I enjoyed reading it. It is about a girl named Colie who used to be fat. Her mother is a famous fitness trainer and travels the world, so Colie is sent to go stay with her aunt Mira. She isn’t a confident person. In the book she meets many people. She finds many good friends who make her more confident and make her change the way she feels about herself. I really liked this book and would recommend it to anyone.

Keeping the Moon was very inspirational. It was about a girl named Colie whose mother loses a ton of weight and becomes a famous fitness guru; over the summer, she starts her world tour and sends Colie to live with her aunt for the break. She soon finds that her aunt is not very popular and uses the waitresses at the Last Chance diner to help her become a better person and get the guy. It was a very good book and I really liked how it was very realistic in the fact that it could happen in real life. I would recommend this book to any girls who need inspiration in their life.

*****I turly think that Keeping the Moon was an excellent book. I was hooked on the very first page when I started to read it. It is by Sarah Dessen who has wrote several books that I would really like to read. Keeping the Moon is about a girl named Colie who was never fit for half of her life. During the summer she is sent away to her Aunt Mira's house and she doesn't expect anything to happen. If I had to suggest anyone a book it would be this one cuz it is adventurous and romantic all at the same time. This book is a big must for the identity unit.

Keeping the Moon made me realize some things that go on in life. ***Collie moved in with her aunt Mira for the summer. She met Norman, Morgan, and Isabel who all changed her life. They all changed how she looked, felt, and thought about things. Collie wasn’t very confident and thought everyone was always talking about her. This book is realistic in showing things that happen to average teenagers everyday.

***Keeping the Moon was a really good book. It is a good book for teen girls to read because most of them can probably relate to Colie when it comes to trying to fit in and dating boys. I didn’t want to put it down after the first few chapters; I wanted to keep reading. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

**** Keeping the Moon was about a girl who is forced to stay with her Aunt Mira, while her mom is on a tour for her new workout regimens. Colie starts working at the Last Chance, a restaurant in Colby, and makes friends with Norman, Isabel, and Morgan. Throughout this book we follow Colie as she struggles to get her self confidence back, and watch as her and Norman’s relationship grows. I would recommend this book to anyone, it was an easy read, and makes you want to read ahead to find out what will happen next.

***** I really enjoy reading Keeping the Moon. When I first was reading this book I couldn’t stop, it just kept me going, and I couldn’t put it down. Colie reminds me a lot of people in life that have a lot of problems with their weight, and that people don’t like them and they are afraid to stand up for themselves. For Colie everything happened in only one summer when she met Norman. Also Colie found two friends that really help find who she really is. I truly recommend this book because it’s easy to get in the book, and it can even relate to the people lives.
