**** "That Summer" by Sarah Dessen was the story of Haven sort of stuck in an awkward age, between being a girl and becoming a grown-up. Along with dealing with her age, her family makes lost of changes also. Haven feels like everything is falling apart and all she wants is to hang on to "That Summer" when everything was perfect and everyone was happy, but is that how everything was? Haven isn't the only one going through changes, her friends are going through similar difficulties also. Mostly every teen goes through changes in their life. I highly recommened this book.

*** "That Summer" by Sarah Dessen is a story about a girl named Haven who is 15 years old and reaching 6 feet tall. She feels awkward all the time because of her height, and on top of that her dad had an affair with a younger woman and starting a second family. Haven feels left out when her mom has a good friend and sister is getting married to Lewis. Who Haven thinks is all wrong for Ashley. Haven's good friend is cassie who is going through changes of her own. Haven feels everything is falling apart and she keep remembering "That Summer" where everything was perfect. I recommened this book who likes to keep those happy memories when you feel like everything is going wrong.

***“That Summer” is mainly about a 15 year old, 6 foot tall girl named Haven. She feels like she doesn’t quite fit in because of her height, and she’s kind of outspoken. Her mother and father recently got a divorce because her father was having an affair with a woman named Lorna, who works at the same news channel as he. On top of that, Haven’s sister Ashley is getting married to a man named Lewis, who Haven doesn’t quite know too well, considering he’s usually quiet. All Haven wants is her life to go back to how is was “that” summer, with Sumner Lee; Ashley’s ex-boyfriend who’d spent a family vacation with them in Myrtle Beach, making Ashley laugh and have fun with Haven, bringing the family together. Until Haven finds out that this amazing Sumner, isn’t as amazing as he seemed.

That summer is a great book by Sara Dessan. It is about a 15 year old girl named Haven. She is in an awkward position. First of all she is 6 feet tall, and second her father is starting a family with a younger lady that he works with. Havens sister Ashley is getting married to a guy named Lewis. Haven hates Lewis and thinks that she should marry Sumner instead. She thinks everything is going wrong in her life. She always tries to remember “that summer” where everything was perfect. This was a great book and I would recommend it to anyone.

***That Summer is a very good book. This book, by Sarah Dessen is about a 15 year old, 6 foot tall girl named Haven. She feels like she doesn’t quite fit in because she is overwhelmingly tall, and she’s kind of outspoken. Her mother and father recently got a divorce because her father was having an affair with one of his coworkers at the news station. Her name is Lorna. On top of that, Haven’s sister Ashley is also getting married to a man named Lewis, who Haven doesn’t quite understand due to his lack of communication skills. All Haven wants is her life to go back to how is was “that” summer, with Sumner Lee. Sumner is Ashley’s ex-boyfriend who’d spent a family vacation with them in Myrtle Beach, making Ashley laugh and have fun with Haven, bringing the family together. Until Haven finds out that Sumner, who she always admired, isn't exactly who she thought he was. This book is very exciting but it will also take you by surprise. Haven's character is very relatable which makes the book even more enjoyable. I recommend this book, as well as all of Dessen's others to everyone.

***That Summer was a good book, about a girl named Heaven. She is stuck in the awkward age is in the stage were she is uncomfortable about her appearance. She feels that everything is falling to piece and just wants to hang to “that summer” for as long as she can. When she thought everything was all perfect and everyone was all happy. She just wishes she could go back to when the five year gap between her sister didn’t seem so large, and when her mother and father were happily married. As every average teen she is going through changes as is her friends in her life. I would recommend this book to anyone.
