**** No Shame, No Fear by Ann Turnbull was a very interesting book. It is set in the 1600’s after the civil war. In the story Susanna is a Quaker girl and uses words like “thee” and “thou.” That was a little hard to get used to reading. The story is written from both Susanna’s and Will’s point of view. That also took a little while to get used to, but it made the story more interesting. What I liked about the story that it showed what two people will do for love. Susanna is Quaker and Will is not. They fall in love. The only thing is, will is happen the way they want it to, with society, and parents in the way. If you like love stories then you should read No Shame, No Fear.

“No Shame, No Fear” was a really amazing book. It depicts life in the 1600’s as a Quaker in England, and the troubles that came with it. The book contains a lot of historical references and you can learn a lot from it. It also tells the love story between Will and Susanna, who are from different social classes. I thought it was really good because it was almost a ‘Romeo and Juliet’ theme and I just love romance stories. I think anyone who likes romance or historical fiction should read this book.
