**** I enjoyed reading this book because even though it's just a little over 100 pages, it had a great story line. It's really neat that Shawn is telling the story and telling us how he sees the world. It's a happy, sad type of book.

In Stuck in Neutral the main character Shawn McDaniel has cerebral palsy. He cannot move any muscle in his body. He can’t even move his eyes to where he wants to look. The book has a good story line but I really hated the way it ended. In my opinion I did not think the author Terry Trueman did a very good job at writing this book. I probably would not read this book a second time. It was good but ended up disappointing.

***I liked this book because of how it was told and how the boy thought his dad was going to kill his. I couldn’t really put it down because I wanted to no what happened next. I think it had some suspense in it because you wanted to no what happen next or how it ended. I would recommend this book.

**I liked the story line of this book. It was really interesting to see things from Shawn's point of view. I didn't like how his family spent a lot of time pretending he wasn't even there. The part that really bothered me though was the ending. This was one of those books where there should have been like three more chapters. Things seemed like they were finally going to hit a climax, and then boom, the story was over. There was no real climax to this book if you ask me. i believe the author should have spent more time on this because it seemed that he was really into it for the first half of the book and then he just wanted to get it over with and threw the last few chapters together.

The book Stuck in Neutral is the story of a boy named Shawn McDaniel who suffers from cerebral palsy. Something that makes him unique is the fact that he can think like anyone else and remember everything he ever hears or sees. His biggest problem isn’t his handicap but the fact that his dad wants to end his misery even though Shawn isn’t all that miserable.

Stuck in Neutral, WOW I loved this book. I would read it again just because of the life lessons it has within its pages. There are a lot of sensitive issues it touches on which in my mind were very powerful to read. Even though it is a very short book it has had the most impact on how I look at life. Most people in the world would look at Shawn and think there was no intelligence what so ever in this boys mind, at first glance. This book takes you inside of his mind and takes yours along with it. So my conclusion is WOW. There is no other way to explain it.

** I thought that this book was alright. The thing I liked about it was that it was interesting and a good lesson to show people that just because someone has a disability like that doesn’t mean that they aren’t aware of all the stuff going on around them. Some people make fun of people like that and say “oh it’s not like they understand me” but this book shows that that’s not always true. I didn’t like that everything seemed the same like it was repeated a lot, and I think that a different ending would have been better.

**** Stuck in Neutral was by the far the most fun book I have read in this class so far. It's about a kid named Shawn McDonald who has a disease called cerebral palsy. What makes this book so interesting is that he may have this serious disease, but he really is like a genious. Nobody knows how smart he is because he can't tell them. His dad left him because he can't stand seeing his son go through the pain he has. This makes Shawn think that his dad wasnts to kill him becuase his dads always talking about ending his pain. SO i f u want to know what happens to Shawn in the end you will really want to read this book. I would highly recommend it.

The book Stuck in Neutral by Terry Trueman was a really good book. It tells about a boy named Shawn Mcdaniel who has cerebral palsy. In the book Shawns dad is a writer and he writes about other people who have kids with cerebral palsy, and ending there pain. I liked this book because it has an interesting twist about how Shawn can understand everything that people do or say. In all this was a very good book and I think that if you read it you would like it to.

**** Stuck in Neutral is a pretty good book. This novel is about a boy named Shawn McDaniel who suffers from cerebral palsy. Throughout this book it tells about what’s going on inside his head. He thinks his dad is out to kill him. One thing I didn’t like is the ending how it leaves you hanging. This is a really easy short book, and is easy to read.

** Stuck in Neutral was an ok book but not my favorite or my worst. The book was confusing at times when the main Character Shawn was having his seizers. Shawn has a handicap problem which makes him have seizers and he just goes out into space and into dreamland. The part I did not like was when Shawn kept coming up with reason of why his dad wanted to kill him about his problems. The end of the book was not that good because it just had them on a talk show, and I did not like the way it ended at all.

*** I just read stuck in neutral. If you need a short read. And want a book that isn’t stupid, this book is for you. It’s all about a boy named Shaun who is stuck in a wheel chair. Everyone thinks he is a vegetable, but really he can think just as good as you and me. He struggles with his handicap everyday. And you will not believe what his dad wants to do to him. This is a must read book.

*** Stuck in Neutral was a good book. I liked it because it was different them most books I have read. The main character in this book is Shawn McDaniel who suffers with cerebral palsy, but remembers everything he has heard. In the book Shawn has reasons to believe that his dad, Sydney, is trying to kill him so he will get put out of his misery. Throughout the story I started to believe it too. I didn't like the ending of this story, but I would recommend it.

I give stuck in neural ***. Because it had a great story line and was a easy book. Its about a boy named Shawn and has a disease and cant control his muscles. No one knows that he actually has a mind. It’s a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a good book.

***Stuck in Neutral is about a boy named Shawn who lives with the disease cerebral palsy. He has absolutely no muscle control or anything and lives his life in a wheel chair. Shawn can also remember everything he hears, what anyone is talking about he’ll remember exactly what they said. Nobody knows that Shawn is actually really smart, because he can’t talk, so his mom and sister talk to him like he’s a baby and his dad wants to kill Shawn to put him out of his pain. Seizures are Shawn’s favorite because he likes being able to move and have his soul ‘leave’ his body for that moment. I liked this book because it has a good story line and it’s interesting to read what he thinks.

Stuck In Neutral I liked a lot. I gave it a ****. From the begging I liked it because it was from the kid’s point of view, not someone taking care of him or his sister or his brother or mom. It was from him and how he saw everything. Like with his dad wanting to kill him. You could see how he felt from him not how his dad thought he felt. I probably liked the end of the book the most where the kids are picking on him and his brother protects him. You will figure out what he does if you read the book. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I thought this book was pretty good. I liked how the point of view was from him and not from somebody else. It lets me see how he thought. This is a story told from the eyes of a mentally challenged kid with little or no muscle control. I would have to agree with everyone else when I say that the best part was the end. You will have to read it and see what happens. I would recommend to anyone, it was a pretty easy one to read.

Stuck in Neutral is about a kid named Shawn McDaniel that has a cerebral palsy disorder which means that you don’t have control over your muscles. Shawn thinks that his dad is waiting for the right time to put him out of his misery because he thinks Shawn is suffering. I recommend this book not because it’s short, but because of the fact that you don’t know what’s going to happen until the end of the book.

Stuck in Neutral is about a kid named Shawn who has cerebral palsy. Shawn is permanently stuck in a wheelchair and can’t control any muscle movements. Everybody thinks Shawn is a “vegetable” but in fact he can hear, see, and learn but nobody knows that because Shawn can’t talk. Shawn suffers through seizer’s everyday so his dad wants to end his pain and suffering through assisted suicide. It’s a pretty good book because it’s short and the author keeps you in to the book.

****This was a good book mostly because it was short, and it’s also a good book in general. Its about a boy names Shaun that has cerebral palsy, and he is thinking that his dad is planning on killing him because he can’t stand to see Shaun suffer. I just don’t like the ending because it ends in a bad spot.

**** Stuck in neutral was one of the best books that I’ve read in a long time because its about a mentally disabled kid with C.P. and cant control his body but can understand everyone and remembers everything. But finds out his dad is trying to kill him to end his pain because of his constant seizures. It’s a fantastic book and I recommend it to everyone period. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t enjoy this book.

Stuck in Neutral I thought was a very good book. I would give it 10 out of 10 only because this book really gets you thinking. You never know if someone really isn’t retarded. This book really gets into your head. The only part I didn’t like was how the book just ended when it was getting good just like New Moon.

I loved this book. It’s about a 14 year old boy who has cerebral palsy. He can’t move any of his muscles. The story is told through his eyes and how he sees the world. I didn’t really like how short it was but, it had a good story line. I would read this book its really good.

If you need a short book to read this is perfect. This book is about a boy named Shawn. Shawn is handicapped and is stuck in a wheelchair. Throughout the book you see life from Shawn’s point of view since he can’t interact with anyone. He thinks his dad is going to kill him because his dad thinks he’s in pain. One thing I hated about this book is how it ends it just leaves you and it’s horrible, this is just a short easy book too read.

**** Stuck in Neutral was a really good book. I like how it told the story from Shawn’s point of view, even though he has Cerebral Palsy. In the book Shawn thinks his dad is out to kill him, the book is a huge mystery… you’ll have to read it to find out more.
