****.The book of lost things by John Connolly was one of the best books that I have read so far. It is about how there is a boy that has a wonderful relationship with his mother. He sits by her on her death bed and reads with her. She says that books want to be read, and thus she starts his obsession with books. When she dies he doesn't know what to do so he takes refuge in his many books of fantasy creatures and lands. The book of lost things is about all of the adventures that he goes through with his books and the wonderful journey that his mom helped him have. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone. Although some people say that fantasy books are not their type, this book grabs your attention as you read it and you keep thinking of how he will get out of all of the problems that he faces on his journey. It really got me hooked, and I know that anyone else who reads it will love it as well.

The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly has been a really great book. It is my favorite I have read this year. I strongly recommend this book if you are interested in fairy tales, but if you’re not this book is still a fantastic book! This book is about a boy and his relationship with his mother. They would always read fairy tales together, even at the point when his mother was on her death bed. Many mystical adventures await him after the death of his mother. He becomes lost in his books and finds himself in a different place. This book is my favorite book I have read this year. It grabbed my attention and I know it will grab yours and you will love it too!

The book of lost things was possibly the best book I have yet to read, next to John Dies at the end. It throws its readers off by comming off as a childrens book about a child who does great things and in the end lives happily ever after. But once you have gotten in to it you realize that it is a very brutal book full of killing and plot twists. I strongly recomend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story about the dark sides of the children stories that we all grew up with.

**** John Connolly's The Book of Lost Things was a very good book, and it kind of reminded me a lot of C.S. Lewis' Narnia stories. It is the story about a boy named David whose mother dies, and when his dad remarried and had another son, he kind of got jealous of his little brother, Georgie, and his step-mom, Rose. When David hears voices from the books, and even voices from his mother coming from the sunken garden, he decides to check it out, and what he discovers and the choices he must make with the Crooked Man may impact him and his family forever. Along the way there are friends that help him, wolves that try to attack him, beasts trying to kill him, and some temptation by the Crooked Man. The book kind of shows you that jealousy doesn't really get you anywhere, and that it's really important to protect your siblings no matter how much you dislike him. During the book, David was kind of changed in that way. It has a very good plot and a finish to the story, and I recommend everyone to read it because it was a very good story.

**** The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly was one of the best books that I have read in the class so far. It’s about a boy who gets lost in a strange world and can’t find his way back. As he finds his way through the strange land, he meets some new and interesting people and comes across some creatures that don’t exactly want him to be safe in his journey back home. The book takes a new dark (and sometimes funny) twist on some of the fairy tales that many of us know, and make them more interesting for older readers. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. The story is well put together and well integrated with the fairy tales that Connolly uses. The book is so good it doesn’t deserve anything less than four stars.

****The Book of Lost Things is a very interesting book. It takes you through many childhood fairy tales, but with a demented twist. I found this book to be very interesting and exciting. There rarely were any dull parts in this book. This book is about a young boy who gets a new mother and a new baby brother. He and his dad move in with the boy’s new mother. The young boy despises his new mother and baby brother. One night when he is grounded to his room he sneaks out and goes out to the garden. In the garden there is a little shack that he goes into. It’s dark and when he opens his eyes he is in a new realm. He doesn’t know where he is. All he knows it that he wants to get home. And the adventure begins.
