*** First They Killed My Father was a really good book. It's one of the books that keeps you wanting to read more to see what is going to happen next in Loungs life. Loung is very young but has to act a lot older then 8 when she is taken to a work camp and trained as a solider. I would recommend this book to anyone that does not have problem with deaths and likes reading about family relationships. Mainly this book is about Loungs family trying to keep together for as long as they all possibly can.
