***This was a very good book. It’s a little hard to follow the author, but you can pick up on the clues very easily. A great adventure story. Anyone looking for a book about a bunch of kids stuck on an island should pick this up. There is a lot of symbolism in it. You can’t just finish reading it and be done. You have to read it again just to figure out the messages that the author is trying to tell you.
