I thought this book was extremely easy to read. It’s also very short and I like the fact that it goes from three different perspectives of characters. My favorite character was probably Kyle because he had the most information. I didn’t like Ben’s point of view because it thought it was boring and he really didn’t much. I also like the fact that there were different fonts. That was neat. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick and easy story that is also realistic.

*** Gail Giles' "What Happened to Cass McBride?" was a very good and very interesting novel. Although the story was very depressing, it was interesting, and it was kind of hard to put down. Gail Giles tells three stories that were all happening at different times, and at the end of the novel, you can put it all together. She told of Cass McBride who was missing from her father's home, Kyle Kirby being questioned by authorities- his brother David had just committed suicide a week earlier, and the investigation to find Cass is going on. This novel in the end shows that sometimes when we say something we think is harmless, it might be the worst thing that will ever come out in our life. This book also shows that family is a big factor in how people turn out when they are older, and how they treat other people. The theme of this story I think is hatred, or it could death also. The main purpose of this story is to show that one thing you say or write could change you forever, or possibly even end your life. I recommend everyone to read this because it was very hard to put down for me, and you can learn a lot of good life lessons out of this novel.

I really enjoyed reading “What Happened to Cass McBride?” by Gail Giles. I liked this book because it was easy to read and wasn’t too long. I also liked how the author showed the different point of views on the main characters. I also liked how the time setting changed as you read throughout the book However, I thought some parts of this book were pretty weird, just because it is mainly torture, but if a friend asked me about this book I would definitely recommend it to them.

I really liked this book. It was about a girl who had everything. A "nobody" came and asked her out and she ended up saying some pretty mean things that he found out about. She find herself in a life or death postion. It was short and easy to read. I thought it was really neat how through out the whole book it switched between three different people's stories that way you get to see the story through different persepectives. It was also nice because even though it had different stories in it, it never got too confusing. This book was pretty believable it wasn't so far out there that your reading it going huh? I would recommend this book to anyone for this unit.

***The book, ‘What Happened To Cass Mcbride’ is a whirlwind ride of a good book. It shifts about at a pace that keeps it interesting while not over doing it. Admittedly the book seems like it was written for a middle school student, but the story has it’s roots deeply embedded in adult Crime Drama’s. It locks onto one simple question, asked by the title. Which misleads you from the point, it first makes you think once you have started reading that it will start with the body of Cass Mcbride being found in a roadside ditch. Only to find out she is still alive but captive for justice. Justice for a crime that it would appear she did, but is later shown to be only the layer covering the truth. That and the story is so well written that it seems more like a biography of a previous event rather then merely something thought up by a fiction author (It is fiction by the way). Truthfully for you to pick up this book and give it a gander would be a wise choice upon your part.
