**** Nineteen Minutes. Jodi Picoult’s Nineteen Minutes is eye opening story that is full of surprising twists. Peter Houghton seems to be an average teenage boy, but when the other kids bulling goes too far, he enters the school with four loaded guns and murders ten people. Tempers flare as the town tries to figure out who is to blame for the incident. Is it Peter’s fault, his mothers, or perhaps the entire student body of Sterling High? Jodi Picoult takes you back to the past where you sympathize with Peter, then to the future where you sympathize with the victims. Nineteen Minutes is easily the best book I have read in this unit and Jodi Picoult’s best work.

Who is to blame? Peter, the boy who was bullied all his life from kindergarten to the point he kills. Or is it the entire student body that bullied perter to the point he killed. Jodi Picoult takes you through peters past, from his used to be best friend "josie", to not having any friends at all. You sympathize for him, but what really did happen that morning at Sterling High? You venture your way through perter's trial to learn that anything can happen, even someone that you wouldnt expect to be apart of the crime really is.Nineteen Minutes was one of the est books that i read in this unit and is one book that everyone should read!
*Nineteen Minutes* This is a Jodi Picoult book. It is one of the best books I have read so far, It's a story about a girl named Josie and her former friend Peter who Is sick of being bullied constently from the "jocks" so one morning In New Hampshire Peter goes to the highschool and shoots students and this normal morning ends In a tragic event. Everyone's life Is changed by this one boy who was sick and tired of getting picked on all his life and decides to do something about it. There are suprising twists everywhere you never know wehre Jodi is going to take you next in the book. You won't be disapointed reading this It's a must read!
