****. I thought that Salem falls by Jodi Picolt was a very good book. If you have read any of my other blogs you will see that I gave all of my books this. This book is about a man named Jack, that in the beginning is in Jail for raping a girl who openly admitted that he never did it, yet he still got punished. This is about how he goes to a new town and all of the other people there figure out about his past and assume he is going to do it again. He is charged again and it is about what he has to do and how he deals about that and his past. I liked this book because it had a lot of other people's views about what was going on and it wasn't just one person. I also liked how it happened twice when he thought that he was finally done. It is also very suspenseful. This one book got me to look at all of her other books because I like it and how it was written so much that I was sad when it was done and I want to keep reading. I really enjoyed this book.

This book is a whirlwind of mystery that will keep you reading day and night. Salem Falls is one of those books that you really think you know what is going to happen or who is going to be blamed, and it almost depresses you because it won’t be as much of a surprise when it comes, but let me tell you, it is a surprise and you never would have thought that it was coming. Also, it is really cool because if you have ever read The Pact or Nineteen Minuets by Jody Picoult, you already know one of the characters, Jordan McAfee. He is the lawyer in this book for the main character who is being charged of rape, Jack. Whether you have read those books or not, you are still in for a great ride because this is an awesome book!!
Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult, is one of the best books I have ever read. The main character is Jack, a man who was accused of raping a high school girl and was sent to jail for it even though he is innocent. After leaving jail and going to a new town to burry his past, Jack finds himself in a very similar situation, he is accused a rape by a high school girl, again. Once again Jack is forced to go to trial and proclaim his innocence. This is a book you won’t be able to put down; every time you think you know what will happen next the author hits you with another surprise. I really enjoyed the mystery of this book. The book is also very suspenseful from the beginning to the end. I highly suggest reading Salem Falls, it is a very good book!
