**Book is pretty boring
I didn't like the book because books about preppy people trying to change a nerdy kid into something else are not my type of books to read. I don't understand what gives a teenager the want to change something that this person isn't, sounds like the people have way to much time on their hands.I liked though that Glass (nerd) started to talk back to people and developed the guts to do so. I didn't agree with the end of the book but you'll have to read it to see it for yourself.

The book Shattering Glass by Gail Giles was a pretty good book. I would definitely recommend it for a quick read. At first it started kind of like it didn’t seem to be that good of a book but, eventually it wasn’t that bad, and was kind of different. It has a person who is called Young telling the story about how the group he hangs around with tries to get this one person named Simon Glass popular. There definitely a few twists in the book and a big one in there too. So it was definitely a book to pick for a quick read, and I would recommend it.

** I didn’t really like this book than much. I was ok but I wouldn’t read it again. It just didn’t catch my attention in the begging witch made it hard to keep reading and following. I didn’t like how the one kid wanted to change the other to be someone or something he is not. I liked how the herd stood up for him self in the end but I didn’t like how it ended. I don’t think I would really recommend this book to people.

*** Shattering Glass was not my favorite book I have read this unit, but it was not all that bad. It’s about a group of high school boy’s trying to “help” Simon Glass become popular. Some may think they are doing it to actually help him…but that is not the case. Rob just wants control. But what happens when the darkest secrets are spilt about all the “popular” boys? One thing I really like about this book was how at the beginning of every chapter you got statements from various characters that give you small clues as to what happens at the end, but you will never guess what happened. I would recommend this book to people who like books about control and suspense.

**** Shattering Glass was a great book. I liked how the book shocked you and forced you to read more. You got the feeling something bad would happen but the suspense made you read on, and then something you don’t expect happens such as Simon glass getting killed. If you like suspense and a thriller book, then I recommend reading shattering glass.
