I really like the book, because it was really good for my reading ability and it was easier for me to read. I really like how the story was told and how it was really bad to have a third child and possibly getting killed if he wasn’t hiding all the time. I really liked how each 3rd child had a password to go one the chatting room. That was my favor part of the hold book.

I just got done reading among the hidden. This book was about 3rd children and how it is illegal to have more then 2 kids. If people hade more then to kids and the population police found out they would take the 3rd child away. So the 3rd child hade to live a life in hiding and not going out side. This book was a good.

I give this book 3 stars.

Among the hidden is a good book, It shows the difficutly of a young boy who is a third child. The bad thing is, that in the time of the book, you were only allowed two children. There are people called the population police run by the government who will take your kids away if you have more that two. This book shows the physical and emotion damage that is done when having to constantlly hide and know that you are invisible.

****I really like this book because it was kind of suspenseful. When I was reading I was always scared that Luke was going to get caught. The whole story and the series as well are about how the government only lets families have two children. Luke is the third child and if he gets caught he will be killed because he is illegal. The government made this law because they are scared of a food shortage. This is the kind of book that keeps you on your toes and makes you want to read more.

***I thought that this book was pretty good. It kind of made me wonder what the future is going to be like. I liked the book because its something people dont talk about everyday, so it was something new. I would recomend this book to all people looking for a good fast read.

*** Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix was a good book. I really liked how the main character Luke was always afraid of everything new and then one day he went and got up the courage to venture out of his house. I was afraid for this poor boy throughout most of the story. It was sad that he had to live his life all locked up in a house and then not just his house, but in an attic. I really didn’t like the character Jen all that much though. She came off as a snob to me and she made the impression that she knew everything. I did really like how she had all that courage though. I thought that the ending was really sad, but at the same time really good.

** this was a very fast read but it was well done. I would recamend it too people who are into short books that pull you in but personally it was not one of my favorites. the author does a good job of showing you te atmosphere that the shadow children have to deal with and hide from everyday. They are in constant danger of beign found out and are never truly safe...even in their own homes. This was a good book and the ones that follow im sure are good too. I would not tell you to not read it however like I said it wasn't the best

**** Among the Hidden was an alright book i thought. This book is about there being a law on having more than two children. And when Luke is a third child he doesn't really understand why he has to hide. He can't go to school, he has no friends besides his brothers, and he can't even go outside. However, one day he sees someone in the Sport's family's house that catches him off track because he thought that everyone in his neighborhood has left. He goes into their house and meets another Shadow Child like himself named Jen. Jen shows Luke a whole world he has never seen, and finds out that there are hundreds of shadow children just like him. Luke must choose if he wants to join a rally that Jen is planning to do, or he can stay home in hiding wondering what will happen with his future.

I thought this book was a good book. Not the best ever but it was a really quick book to read and it kept me interested so it was pretty easy to get through it. I liked Jens approach to the situation more than how Luke acted because I believe if you want something you have to go and get it you can’t just hide all your life and hope it happens. I would recommend reading this book because its short and interesting and has a nice story to it.

The book Among the Hidden was very interesting. It tells about a boy who is a third child, and with the population law in effect couples can only have two kids. This book keeps you interested all the way through until the end. So if your wondering what it would be like to hide all your life this is the book to read. I would reccomend this book to anyone who wants a good Identity book.

**** among the hidden was a pretty good book I think it is a great book to start a series I did not like how it just ended i really want to know what happens next. Its kind of cool thinking that this could actually happen in real life. i do reccomend this book to people but its not long and it sucks how it just randomly ends.

I thought that “Among the Hidden” was a pretty good book, and it was an easy to read book. It was about a young boy, Luke, who lives with his family on their recently shut down farm. He is also the youngest of three boys, except in this story the government passed a population law, forbidding the existence of third children in order to have enough food to go around. Their farm is shut down because richer families are building houses on their land which means that the woods had to be cut down. Luke is then forced to hide inside day and night because his parents are worried that he might be spotted. Luke also meets another third child, Jen, when he sees her face in the window of one of the nicer homes. After he meets Jen she tells him about a rally that is going to protest the population law, in hope to change the law. Overall I thought this books was pretty good and I would recommend it to somebody looking for an easy to read, quick book.

**** Among the hidden is a really good book that I would reccomend to anybody who likes an easy read book. It is a gripping aventure about a boy who is considered illegal under the Government Population Law. The law is that no family can have more than two kids. And in this familys case they have a twelve-year-old Luke that has to be hidden his entire life. As the third born child to his family, Luke's considered illegal. Luke's family didn't tell Luke about this law so most of his life he is trying to figure out why he is treated different from his older brothers. Luke meets another person who has to hid and her name is Jen. Jen and Luke go on an adventure of a lifetime. So find out what happens!

** I thought that Among the Hidden was a pretty good book. It tells the story of a world where only two children are allowed to be born in each family, and Luke is a third child. He spends a lot of his time looking out the vent at the woods that are getting cut down, and also trying not to get caught. Then one day when all the people in the neighboring house leave, Luke sees something, and it will change him forever. That is probably the best part of the story, but I will not tell what happens. I liked it because it showed what it must be like in China when parents have more than one child and they're not supposed to. It makes a pretty good comparison to the real world. I also liked how for the most part, Luke was able to deal with having to be alone every single day, and he never really complained too bad. I recommend this book for everyone to read. It was pretty solid.

****Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix is a good book mostly for the fact that it is a good way to begin a series and explain how the Shadow children have to live there life in hiding. From having fake IDs to being stuck in an attic to getting shot by the government for holding a rally, the book gets pretty intense. I couldn’t imagine having to be an unwanted child in the world, and being alone all day while my brothers were at school or off doing other normal things

**** The book among the hidden by Margaret Haddix is a new sort of book that I really liked. This book is about a young boy named Luke who is third child and due to strict population laws he isn’t supposed to exist. He spends his days being lonely until one day he meets Jen another third child Luke learns a lot from her and that there are many children like them in the world and together they begin to fight for their rights and the rights of the others. I would recommend this book to anyone because it keeps my guessing to what is going to happen next.
