**** The Hunger Games is an overall really good book. Its set in the future which makes it different from other books. Katniss is the main character who volunteers to go into the “hunger games” where she has to fight to stay alive till the end. I would recommend The Hunger Games to young adult girls and boys. It does kind of get into a love story but it’s also very in detail with fighting and the wounds. This is a type of book you keep reading because you want to see if Katniss stays alive or what happens to her.

The Hunger Games is definately the best book I have ever read. It starts off kind of slow and boring, but once you get into it you won't be able to put it down. This is a book about Katniss and Peeta, those two have to go into an arena with 24 other people. In this arena these 24 people have to fight to the death and there can only be one victor. Read it and find out if Katniss or Peeta can win, they are friends, but there can only be one winner in the end and everyone else will die.

I would recommend this book to any one looking for a good book to read. The book pulls you in right from the start, the details are not drug out and it makes you feel like you’re in the arena with them. I liked that there’s twists and turn for example the rule change, it makes the book more exciting. I also like that there is a bit of romance going on not only to keep the crowd wondering but it also makes the reader wonder too.
