***The Giver was a different type of book that I have never read before. I really enjoyed the story line. The Giver is always making me ask questions to myself. From the beginning I knew there was something different about Jonas because he thought differently than everyone else. Jonas thinks that there is more to life than what he knows of. He lives in a world where you can’t feel anything. Everything is neutral and nothing bad happens or if it does his family unit doesn’t talk about it. Jonas was chosen the Giver. Read to see what he does when he becomes the Giver. You’ll be surprised just like I was.
*** The Giver is a book about a boy named Jonas living in the future where everything is the same. Kids grow up to be 12 and are assigned jobs. Jonas is assigned the job of Memories and he is supposed to learn everything from the Giver who passes memories to Jonas. This isn't the greatest book I have read but I still recomend it.
