***Fat kid rules the world was a pretty good book. It is about a boy who is over weight. Living in today’s society, being overweight is hard. When he was trying to commit suicide and a boy claims to have saved him. He ends up to be the coolest guy in school. The only problem is he never goes to school, never showers, and has no home. This boy decides that he is going to start a band. This book is about all of his trouble with this band and this boy. I think that it was a pretty good book, but it didn’t really go anywhere. I knew what was going to happen and I think that it was pretty predictable. Other then that though I think that it was good how they wrote it from his perspective.

*** The Fat Kid Rules the World is about a teenage boy who is overweight. Troy is sick of everyone laughing at him for everything he does. He’s stuck in a house with his father and his brother who is perfect. Troy meets a kid who changes his life forever. Curt is different from everyone else because he has no home and is pretty much a dirty kid, but everyone at school likes him. They made a band and Troy is the drummer even though he does not know how to play. This book is about Troy and Curt getting through the band troubles and overcoming Troy always getting laughed at. I thought it was a pretty good book the beginning was kind of slow but it got better.

**The Fat Kid Rules the World is a story of a young teenage boy who is very overweight and gets made fun of alot. He eventually gets sick of all the tuanting, and sick of living in a house where his father and brother are everything that he's not. But he meets a new friend who changes his life. Curt has no home, and is conisdered what we call at our school a "dirty" kid, but actually has frieds and is liked well by other people. They start a band, curt and Troy and this story follows them through their troubles with the band and also how troy eventually overcomes getting made fun of about how he looks and his weight. I liked this book, and would recommend it.

**** Fat Kid Rules the world is a very good book. Its about an obese teenager who stumbles across a homeless rockstar at a train station. The homeless kids name was Curt, who was known as a legend at Troys school. Curt is a clingy drug addict who eventually talks troy into starting a band. The book becomes better as the band forms and all the things that happen before their big first show. This book is good because it tells a different kind of story than you would normally read.

****Fat Kid Rules The World was overall a very good story and could be seen as inspiring to others. Troy the main character lives his life with low self-esteem and no real hope in life whatsoever, he's generally the target at his school for ridicule and humiliation. This all changes when he meets Curt McCrae, little does he know that his and Curt's friendship will forever change him as a person. This book is definately worth reading and I would recommend it to everyone.

**** I thought that this is one of the best books that I read this whole class. Its about a fat kid named troy who is thinking about killing himself in a subway station. Then a semi homeless guy apparently saved his life. This is a tough book to get into but once you get about 1/3 of the way through, then you will like it a lot.

**** Fat kid rules the world was a decent book. It was about a boy who was overweight and didn't have any friends who was about to commit suicide. Until a druggie named Curt saved him. Then after that Curt wanted to have him the band to be the drummer. Troy had no idea how to play drums but eventually learned how to and became the drummer of the band. The book did a good job of showing a kid over come adversity and do something that nobody thought he would have been able to do. I liked the book from cover to cover.
