** Tender Morsels was one of the weirdest books I’ve ever read and not one of my favorites. It’s about a woman named Liga who is raped by one of her own family members and 5 other men. She is so beaten down and near death that when she falls asleep, she suddenly wakes up in another world, her perfect world. She has children from the men who assaulted her and now has to find her way through this new world, along with her children. I thought the beginning of the book was the saddest part, but it sort of got better from there. The ending wasn’t the greatest for me either. It only had like one good surprise and them ended really abruptly. I enjoyed how it switched from one character’s thoughts to another’s. It gives an all around view of the book and just not one person.
