*** I thought living dead girl was a very gruesome and disturbing book. Almost to disturbing. The way that ray rapes Alice almost everyday, and beats her, and does terrible things to her. Its really bad. But it’s a good book the way that she gets away, and plans her escape. But it was really disturbing. I guess if you like suspense, and brutality then you will like this book.

“Living Dead Girl” by Elizabeth Scott is a book about a girl the age of 10 gets abducted while on a field trip by a guy named Ray. Ray is the bad guy, and keeps the girl looking young because that’s his fetish. He threatens her when she tries to run away and he says he will kill there family. The ending is the best part of the book because it is a surprise! I really liked this book because I was afraid to turn the page but I really wanted to. *****

*** Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott is about a girl that is kidnapped as a child and forced to be a sex slave under the threat that the kidnapper with kill her family. I liked this book mostly for the reason that it is a very unique story. It is a little hard to follow at times, but over all it has a lot of drama. The book has some graphic content and is a little messed up at times. This book made me think of how scared these types of children are. I would recommend this book to any Young Adult Lit. student.

I kind of liked this book. I would give it a ** because I didn’t like how the guy who kidnapped the girl treated her. I mean he gave her nothing to east so she would stay skinny and look like a little girl. That’s just really disgusting to me and I didn’t really have time to finish the book but I know that I don’t really want to continue with it.

***Living Dead Girl is about a young girl who is called “Alice”. But “Alice” is not her name. This girl, who is the main character, is taken when she is ten years old by Ray. Ray makes the girl into his “Alice”. The book takes you into “Alice’s” disturbing life and the reader really gets to know her. The book is very suspenseful and you won’t be able to put it down. It’s also pretty disturbing at times. The only other complaint that I have about this book is the ending. The author ends the book very abruptly and leaves you hanging. This made me mad because I wanted to know more but it just ended. I really hope that the author comes out with a sequel to this book because of how it ended. Besides that, this book is good and I would recommend it to anyone to read.

**** “Living Dead Girl” is a book about a 10 year old girl that was abducted while she was on a class trip by a guy that she calls Ray. When he took her he threatened to kill her family if she didn’t obey him. He always made her dress in little kid clothing because that’s what he liked best. I loved the ending of the book because it is not expected at all. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books with suspense and surprises.

****Burned by Ellen Hopkins is about a girl named Payton. Her dad abused her mom, and her mom never did anything about it. She’s a really good Mormon girl that never got in any trouble and got good grades until she got her first boyfriend, Derek. He was only using her and it was all a joke to him and his friends. When Derek broke up with Payton she got really mad. She started acting up at school to the point where she punched Derek’s new boyfriend in the face, and her dad couldn’t take it anymore. He started to abuse her too. After that her dad sent her to live with her aunt. When she was living with her aunt she learned a lot of things that happened with her aunt and her dad.
