Mexican Whiteboy by Matt de la Pena is a great book in my opinion. It centers around two boys, Danny and Uno. It starts out with Danny staying in a town in Mexico where he meets Uno. The thing that makes this book great is how at the start the two boys hate each other, but after the summer they spend together they realize that they have a common hobby, baseball. I strongly recommend this book.
