****The Catcher in the Rye was one of the worst books I have ever read. This book is about a guy named Holden Caulfield who gets kicked out of his prep school and is basically depressed through the whole book. I would not recommend this book because while I was reading I felt like I was back in American Lit being forced to read a book from a dead author who wrote about outdated literature. I would not recommend this book unless your favorite class is American Lit.
***** The Catcher in the Rye was a really good book. The book is about a kid named Holden Caulfeild who basically chooses to live in the underground of New York City. He trys to find himself and he actually finds what life is really about and all the evils in the world. He wanted to save all the children in the world from seeing what he saw in life. It is a good book for any teen to relate to especially ones who will connect really well with Holden.
