** The Wednesday wars was an alright book. It’s about a kid named Holling who is in seventh grade and has a Teacher that hates him. He has to stay after with her every Wednesday while the other students go to church. Holling has to do chores for her and eventually read Shakespeare for her. Throughout the year they form a friendship and Holling learns a lot about himself. The things I didn’t like is that the book takes place in the 60’s and also I feel it’s aimed towards younger kids. If you like books that are for younger kids read this book.
