***I liked this book
I liked the way the author of this journal was remained anonymous after the book was published they had changed the setting and plot of the story.I also noticed how the author was trying to refrain from using drugs, but you could still tell that she wanted them to be a part of her life by the way she talks.

***Book was not bad
I thought the book was interesting meaning the book being in journal form. I understood why Alice started drugs because of her looking to be accepted by people to be her friends and get away from problems at home but later on the drugs only make it worse. I couldn't understand why Alice kept saying she was going to quit all drugs entirly but still kept going back to them. The main character is very depressing and usally never happy, she sleeps around a lot and the drugs she was using were ruining her.

***I liked this book
I thought the book was very interesting in seeing how Alice whould deal with all her problems. The book relates alot to the real world because a lot of people look for drugs as a way to escape from their problems. Aliace was a typicall teenager getting caught with being friends with the wrong people. She really proved how determined she was when she was constantly getting harrassed by all her drug friends. Alice is very depressed throughout the whole book.

*** I liked this book
I thought this was a really good book for being in journal form. The main character Alice was always depressed and just layed around. I think everyone should read this book because it is a lot like the real world. There are a lot of people out there that use drugs to escape from their problems, and she was just a teenager that was getting caught with the wrong kind of people. All the drugs that she was using just made her life worse.

*** The book was ok
I really did not like how this book was in journal form. It was a lot harder to read for me because it would have the dates and it would just mess me up. I thought she came over here problems by going to rehab. I figured once she got caught she would quit doing the drugs. That was not the case she just on going. Alice is a person who got depressed when she was all cleared up off the drugs by her friends and the little kids. I felt bad for her when all her friends kept on bugging her.

**** I really enjoyed this book.
I loved that the author is annoys and it is a true story. I think that she was a strong yet easily persuaded person. She was trying to fight the drug world but then goes into it. What happens after that is very exciting and her story is memorable. I think that this book influenced people who are on drugs to get off.

***************** this book was awesome best book i have ever read in my life. I don’t read a lot of books but i would read this book over and over again that’s how much I liked it. I did not like how her old friends kept buggimg her and would not leave her alone but I would recommend this book to every one it makes you think about life and about drugs. I liked how it was in a diary and the ending is pretty good so I think every one In the class should read this book and every teen I thought it was that good.

**** ‘Go Ask Alice’ was one of the best books that I have ever read. What was really interesting about it is, it’s a real story. In some parts of this book I felt bad for her because she never seemed to be able to turn things around. It was neat to not be everywhere for every little detail and being able to see what was going through her head only. It’s sad that no one was able to help her because she would never open up and talk to someone. The ending is something that I wasn’t totally expecting. This book really makes you think about what other people could be thinking that are going through a hard time. Even though she said that she liked being alone, no one really likes being alone. I would tell everyone to read this book because it gives you a different outlook on life!

*** I thought this book was very good and interesting. I liked seeing how Alice deled with her problems. I think that this book relates a lot to the real world. I think this because a lot of people look for drugs as a way to escape from their problems. Most teenagers do the same thing. I like how the book was in journal form because it mad it easier to read and follow. I would most defiantly recommend this book to someone.

*** I thought this was a wonderful book with great messages behind it. It shows you that even trying something “just once” can lead to a life-ruining addiction. It’s not worth wasting your life and throwing your future down the drain just to fit in with a group. Its heart breaking that anybody would put them self through all the trouble she was in. This book is filled with adventure and has a slap-in-the-face ending.

***** “Go Ask Alice” was an awesome book!
I thought it was very interesting and kept me interested the whole way through out the book. The author always kept me guessing if Alice would keep using drugs or would break down after she stopped. I also liked how it was written as her diary; it was like you were in her life and being there with her. I thought it was really cool how her name wasn’t in it too. It just made it seem even more like you were with her and in her thoughts. My favorite parts are when she called her parents to go home and realized how thankful she was to be home and have all of her things back. The book has a great ending and was very surprising and not predictable what so ever! I don’t think I ever finished a book that fast. I would recommend this book for anyone, it is a must read.

*** Go Ask Alice was one of the creepiest books I have ever read. It showed me how life was like as a teenager in the 70's. I think that as a teenager growing up that many other teens should read this book because it shows how doing drugs once, leads into so much more than what was hoped for. The main character runs away from home, in search of the ultimate high.

I’m not really sure if I really like the book “Go Ask Alice.” The book says it is fiction but in the cover pages it says it is based off a real teenage girls’ diary. I think it would be more interesting if we really knew if it was real or not. The girl Alice is a 15 year old who gets started with drugs while at a party. It starts to get out of hand and her life starts to spiral out of control. She would stop doing drugs for a while and try to stay away but end up back on them again. Closer to the end she is sober after unknowingly taking acid and ending up in a mental hospital. She comes back home and is clean and her life seems to be going good. She ends up not wanting to write in her diary but ends up dying from an overdose. I would recommend this to almost anyone.

Go Ask Alice was not too bad. I thought it dragged on to much. I thought that it was a good idea to have the book written in journal form. I like how the book relates to real life. Alice started taking drugs because she wanted to fit and get more people to like her. She thought that the drugs would make all of her problems go away when they got worse. I thought that it was stupid that Alice kept saying that she wanted to quit the drugs but, then she would go back to them. Then all of her drug friends would constantly harass her. This book was basically Alice always feeling depressed and a lone.

*** I could barely put this book down. Go Ask Alice is about a teenage girl who keeps a journal while she goes through hardship with drug addiction. She moves to a different place where she feels likes she doesn’t belong. She goes to party where she gets her first experience with the drug LSD. The after that she is hooked and goes on a continues downward spiral from running away to going into the crazy bin. She met different people along the way whether they helped her addiction or tried to helped her. If any thought about reading this book don’t think twice about it and pick it up.

** This book is okay
This book was just okay in my opinion because it was kind of a slow book at the beginning. This book is about a girl who was a nobody, you could say, at the beginning of the book who got invited to a party. At the party she was given LSD without knowing it, from there she got into a lot of trouble not only with drugs but with running away also. I would recommend this book to anyone who can relate to it. Its hard to read it when you cant relate to anything that is going on.

Go Ask Alice was the diary of a teen run away who tries to escape the life that she has created thru drug usage. The main character tries drugs for the first time and from then on she tries to quit her life-threatening habit. Everyone is trying to help her, but in different ways; some people want her to come back to the drugs and tell her that she cant resist for too long, while other people like her parents (when they find out) try to wean her off the drugs and get her life back. Although it was a true account and I’m sure that many people who have drug addictions go thru similar situations, I really didn’t like the book too much. To me she seemed so naïve about everything and that her life and the people in it were one big joke; she wasn’t addicted in the beginning and even though she promised not to do it again, she broke down her promise to fit it. I really didn’t like her conformity, but she did express her emotions quite tactfully. I think that this book would be more for people who are interested in the effects drugs have on the emotional part of the body.

****Go ask Alice, was a really good book for being written in journal form. This a book about a teenage girl who runs away and use drugs as her escape. The first time she tired drugs was by chance, but from then on she battled to quit her addiction. Everyone is trying to help her, but the drugs keep calling her back. Truthfully I like this book a lot, but I don’t exactly like the author. I say this because she is naïve about everything in her life and that people in it are all a big joke. Also in the beginning she was not yet addicted and makes a promise to herself to never do them again, which turned into a promise she broke.
