**This book wasn’t one that I was very interested in. I was very confused early on when the main character had a flashback in his life. It was also hard to follow the dialogue at first. The story is about a man named Valentino who is from Sudan and living in Atlanta. He talks about his story when the civil war between North and South Sudan started. The story was ok, but it seemed that it was too much of a pity story to me.
I would give the book What is the what four stars. It’s about African boy whose village is attacked by the rebels and he is forced to run and hide. Along the way he runs in to some people that help him. He finds a group of other boys to walk with called the lost boys. As they walk goes on the group grows. You will have to read to find out what happens. If you liked this book, I would recommend the book A Long Way Gone.
