The book, Brisingr is a bit more slow moving then Eragon, and Eldest. The majority of it is written to be politics based with a few battles intermingled and short quests. Over all it's a good book, but it does seem boring compared with the other two. Even the battles seem slower, or at least less descriptive, in the end losing some of their zeal. Though this is made up for, with the book introducing new themses, such as warriors with no pain, a new sword, and a revelation to Galbatorix's gradual increase in power.
